IMLeagues
imleagues.com does for intramural sports what Yahoo and ESPN have done for fantasy sports – we make running an intramural program much easier by automating the process and bringing it online, and at the same time we make it a lot more fun and interactive for the students playing intramurals. After running live for just over a year, we are already the official intramural website for 78 colleges and universities (more than any other website/program) and growing very fast.

Tell us about your startup business:
imleagues provides the official intramural website for students at many colleges and universities throughout the US to sign up for and manage their intramural sports programs. We give students at each school a complete website to help make intramurals more interactive and fun, and because we focus solely on colleges, 99.9% of our users are current college students who enjoy playing sports.Once we’ve helped an intramural department get up and running on imleagues.com, all intramural information for that school is posted and maintained on our site, and in addition, every student who plays an intramural sport creates an account on imleagues and logs onto the site to register for and stay active with the sports that they want to play. And because imleagues has many features that keep students coming back, students return to the site often in order to stay more involved with their intramural sports.

What are some of the future goals for your startup?
We are already the leader for managing collegiate intramurals but we want to continue to expand to the point that a majority of all colleges and universities use imleagues.com.
We'd also like to expand in the future to go from an interactive intramural sports website to become an interactive TOTAL sports website where we connect our users to everything sports related.
