We're not reinventing beauty. We're not redefining school pride. While our final product is far from revolutionary, we realize this product will only be successful by thinking beyond the calendar. It's extending our models to a BlackBerry application. Or giving viewers a behind-the-scenes video blog during the photo shoot. Or marketing an advertiser's product at the concerts we're partnered in promoting. Or utilizing social media to saturate the Facebook U generation. We want to be as transparent as possible, providing fresh content online and maintaining consistent Web traffic through photo galleries and multimedia interviews with the models.

Aside from being the largest promoters, Hottest College will also become the school's biggest promoter for Arizona's most high profile concerts at the UA in a new effort to connect area promoters. Country Thunder is our premiere event in April.

What are some of the future goals for your startup?

Expansion. We picked our name for the future and possibility of adding more schools to our calendar distribution. Everyone wants to represent their school with pride; we're publishing the calendars, posters, etc., for students to demonstrate spirit.

Surround yourself with the right people. It's crucial they're all in it for the right reasons, and I can't think of two more passionate people than Carly and Cory. We're a tripod - three is a great number.
