    Commission Junction? Yay or Nay?

We have been contemplating the start up fees of cj.com (commission junction). Has anyone had experience with this form of affiliate advertising? Are there any other companies out there that are less expensive but give you a great bang for your buck?

Any info and feedback will be appreciated!

I have heard good things about Dark Blue and ShareASale. We used ShareASale for another project with minor success, but we didn't hit the affiliate program very hard.

I have heard nothing but good things about CJ. But I have personally not used them since 1998. The mere fact that they have survived so long is a good indicator of at least that they are honest and reliable.

CJ is a good way to go the reason being that they have alot of publishers that can post your stuff. Although, you do have to offer a good program to publishers. Has anyone ever tried doing both inhouse and third party affiliates programs?

    Re: CJ or in-house

I am from the eTravel industry and have used for many years the affiliate program from groundbreak.com - We hacked the PHP code a lot but the script was only 290 USD /

Any way, CJ is good. I know of one e-travel company that use them and they are very happy and generate a large number of affiliate sign-up's.

    CJ is better as Befree.
