    SSL Certificates

Obvioulsy if you are processing customers financial info these are a must. But the question is:
As a brandnew startup website are they a must for the first 3-6 months? Because they can be a decent amount of money....

Which ones are the best, and which ones are the cheapest.

With people that run ecom. stores which ones do you use?

    SSL Certs

I think they are a must, not only are you assuring secruity you will show your customers that you are a serious business. One case of fraud, a slipup, hack, or misuse could shut your doors. There are some people, not a large percentage, but some people will only shop at businesses with a Cert. Don't give them a reason to go to your competition.

GoDaddy just started selling certs for $49.95, thats a steal compared to Entrust, & Verisign.

The best? I can't help you with that part.
