What kind of business are looking at running:

- LLC.
- Sole Proprietorship.
- Corporation.

Each have varying degrees of difficulty and positives and negatives. For example a sole propreitorship is the easiest to set-up and also costs you the least, the drawback is that you and your personal assets are at risk in case that your business defaults on a loan, doesn't pay taxes on time, etc.

A corporation is generally appropriate if you are setting up or are planning to evolve into a mid-large size company with shareholders and the like. The plus side is it offers you much more personal protection in case your business defaults on loans, etc. The down side is that it costs more than setting a LLC or a Sole Propreitorship. Generally a few hundred up to a $1000 dollars depending in which state you reside or want to incorporate in. With that said, figure out what you need and how much you are willing to spend at this time.
