Hey guys, a friend and I have begun developing our business plan for a hookah bar and restaurant and were wondering if anyone out there running or owning a hookah bar would be willing to answer a few questions for us. If would be so kind as to help, please just PM me. Thanks in advance!

I disagree. There are plenty of hookah bars in Texas!!

I've been to several in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

I too am very interested in opening a Hookah Bar in a college town and would greatly appreciate any and all advice. I live in Michigan, and am unsure of the laws surrounding opening a Hookah Bar. Please contact me at Jonv8907@gmail.com, and Thanks in advance to all.

I would recommend buying your supplies from Israel. You can get your supplies at a great price and they are high quality. It would be a great business, especially if you offer a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some shisha. There was a local hookah bar around here that allowed their patrons to bring in alcohol without checking IDs...basically they did not last long. Be very careful with who you let in an make sure everyone is 18...

Good Luck
