What type of clothing? It is like goth, punk, more like the hollister brand, etc. ? the logo has to exemplify the type of clothes you will make imo.

I was just looking at css.com(the skateshop where I go) the logos are more like random and stuff. I would look around pixellogo.com for some ideas. I think some cool one's for you would be someting like

While those might look too professional for you, they could easily be lightened up with some tweaks and color changes. When I go about designing stuff, I usually go to www.templatemonster.com or pixellogo.com for ideas and then come up with something from the design elements I like.

ssoo....I woudl recommend looking around at the logos you like, post them in this thread, and some of the members can help come up with some stuff for you.
