wine shop!

In NYC i'm quite sure that there are a fixed number of Liquor Store Permits (because they don't want them on every corner), but it is quite easy to get a beer and wine license. And, as someone noted, wine is big profit, my vote is to open a wine shop!

If you are by the Mass boarder, you may want to look at question one on the MA balled. That could affect you.

Looking for wholesalers already? I think your cart is in front of your horse.

Liquor license in NYC...Aren't they limited and like $100,000+ to buy ???

Once you have your license I'm sure finding wholesalers would be a snap.

Hi buf009,

I think the first thing I would do is check and see if you can even get a liquor license. As bigpoppasan, they are limited and sometimes cost big money. I have seen them for as high as 6 or 7 figures for the license alone depending on how limited they are.

Have you checked around town and asked any of the businesses if they would be interested in selling their store to you?
