Marketing Research

I'm trying to find some data on city and neighborhood income levels, age, education levels, political leanings, etc. However, I've looked all over the web and either sites will want thousands or dollars or not have the information I'm looking for. Does anyone have an idea where I could go?

I know that our college campus had all that data for almost every city in the US. We had some sort of Intranet application that ran on the computers in the library. We used this for many of our projects. I would start there, and also try the public library.

you need cesus data, it's free

what you really need is primary market research. it's a lot more valuable than all the stats you're trying to track down.

it's free also.

I think if you approach to your local or state level census bureau, you can get such data easily.
