Post Marketing promotions - What do u think?

Hi All

Well, I finally decided what bit of marketing i wanna get into, but I need help on getting thhis project off the ground!

I live in South Africa and have been working in call Centre's in SA and The UK for the past 5 years ,from working as a consultant to a team leader and then Manager. As im sure you all would know. SA is the new craze for the Call Centre industry,we are supporting countries all over the world from here, which means alot of 24 hour operations.

From working in this field for so long I know how frustrating it is for consultants and we always need something to keep us going.

What im looking at getting into is starting a Marketing Promotion company that will handle all INCENTIVE and promo's for the staff within these contact centre's, So for example run incentive's for a companies Telesale's team and any Call centre staff.
The company would give me a monthly budget and with that i'd put together fun incentives and promo's for the month EG - Top sales wins weekend breaks ,t.v ect.

As i have been working in the field for so long and in My Final year of getting my Marketing Qualification, I understand the consultant needs and know what motivates them.As a Team leader and Manager i have been creating fun incentives ect to keep my Teams happy and motivated Esp in Sale's in the past.

My problems is where do i start, whats my 1st step, do I create a website make buss card and go pitch to companies ( start with the companies I worked with previously) and how do I charge for this? Should I ask for a % of the budget or a set amount??

Any Help Guys?? Any marketers out there that can help in any other way?

always start with primary market research

pick up the phone and get proof that you have a reason to exist

use this proof to build your business

Hi

Thanks for the response, from my personal experience in this field I know there is a definate market and I have seen companies spend quite alot on these monthly incentives.
Beside's it save's managment alot of headache thinking up of ways to incentivice and keep track of it, with this service they can now focus on the important issues!

Yip, know what you mean that is why I will only be focusing corporate call centres and only call centres.I havent heard of any companies around here that does this or focuses only on this.

Still stuck at how does one charge for this?
