HP Topsites is the second, if not first largest Harry Potter topsites on the web. It is over 8 months old and is constantly growing. The database of members was well over 100 at a time but many were not linking back and so were removed. There are several new sites added per week.

The site was recently redesigned and the skin seen is custom coded and designed for HP Topsites and Nintendo Topsites (my other topsites). The domain is registered at Namecheap.com and will be a free push and include a free WhoisGuard to protect your personal information.

Banners in Billboard - $10 per banner per month, 3 in rotation = $30
Links in Sponsors box - $3 per link per month, 9 per month = $27
Total revenue = $57p/m

This is a figure that is easy to achieve. I have never fully sold the site for advertising so have never actually made this much, but have sold text links most months. Anybody with advertising experience can generate the above easily. I have one text link lined up for the next month but due to the sale of the site it is on hold, I will forward you their email address on completion of the sale.

Price:
I believe the accepted valuation of websites is 10 months revenue. Based on the $57 figure that would value the site at $570. The site however does not currently generate this revenue and has only peaked at aroudn $20 income in a month. I would therefore like to set a firm price of $200 for the site, including the custom design, domain and database. This is a very reasonable price in my opinion.

The price lowering was a temporary action to try and find a quick buyer. The need for a quick sale has now gone so I have raised the price back up.
