    Question How to approach wholesalers...

Hi everyone. I am new here in the hopes that someone can help me out. I already posted this under startup but no one has answered yet so I didn't think it would hurt to post it under this topic. Hope someone sees it who can help.

I have found several wholesalers that I would like to approach about their policies, prices, payments, return policy etc. However...I don't have a clue about the attitude that they may have. So I don't know how to prepare for a phone call to them. Or even who (what dept.) to even ask for. I am a little worried that I don't know the right things to ask.

I mean, is their attitude on of "hey you little bottom feeder, tell me why you think I should give you the time of day?" Or are they more like "hey we can work it out..."?

I must admit I am a tad intimidated about my approach.

If anyone can help me out here, it would be appreciated. I am hardly ever at a loss for words, but this one has got me.

you are their customers, so you are the boss...

i have approached a lot of vendors, and what I usually do is to send an email first explaining my business, product required, and stuff like that.... then I will make a phone call to them few hours later to confirm if they have received my mail.. Then I will explain a bit to make it clear & talk with them or arrange for meeting if it turned out good.

Most of the vendors will try to find a solution for me because to them, i am their business. If you met a wholesalers that give you unpleasant feeling, just leave them & don't bother...

just remember, you are the boss... you pay them...

To get approach to a wholesaler is not that difficult, there are many reliable wholesalers like wholesale ebsilk. The most important thing is that you need to choose the right product you are going to purchase, different wholesalers focus on different products, and the price is also different. You can make a comparison betweet wholesalers. In fact it is no need even so troublesome to phone them or email them. You can order the product on their web and pay online. It's verry convenient and safe. You can also pay for them when you receive the right products you odered, so just enjoy your business with wholesalers.
    GOOD LUCK!

Hey thanks a lot for the encouragement, I will keep that in mind. I checked out your website, I guess next thing is "to compare prices" wouldn't you say. :O) Do you think it is worth a shot...you know the video sales business? That is what I am getting ready to do.
