    Talking Here I Am

I QUIT MY JOB! All those entrepreneurs out there I just wanted to share some thoughts with you. First off before you spend your time and money on a business or idea make sure its the one that your really gonna put a honest effort into. If your ideas are changing every month then maybe you aren't ready to commit to your business. For example I have been thinking about the same business plan for a year now so I realized that this is what I really want to do. Next thing that I want to point out is that working for yourself can be difficult. Today is my first day sitting here actually working for my company like I am clocked in and I dont really have a sense of direction or anyone telling me this is what needs to be done. I want to break it up and not spend to much time on designing or to much time out trying to come up with prospects for now. There is this formula that I have posted in front of my computer and I am applying it to myself; action plans=task=objectives=mission accomplished. Action plans make up task which make up objectives. You really gotta prioritize and vision a stairway to your goals; whats more important and ask yourself will I be able to do that if I dont do this first? I did wake up today ready for work, dressed nice, ate a good breakfast then sat here in my office( which is in my house). Lets just see how long I can keep this up because its all about being persistent and staying focused. Good luck to everyone. I will be logged on here a lot more so if anyone has questions or wants to discuss something let me know.

Im currently running two right now. They are almost up and running as far as websites and etc. First one is my clothing line BEYOND TIME CLOTHING that I created when I was eighteen. The second one is putting photos of kids playing sports on apparel for parents, these photos can be manipulated with there favorite teams in the background or favorite players standing next to them, its a personal sports memorabilia for parents. The next thing I want to get up and running is my patent dress shirts but I need to get the other two running smoothly before I move on to the dress shirts.

If you find yourself stuck not knowing what step to take first, but your goal is clear, you might want to take the following approach:

    1) Start at the end goal
    2) Answer the question: which is the last step before reaching the end goal?
    3) Repeat step 2 until satisfied

This works for me all the time.

I try to do many things to stay artistic such as creating projects for myself. The things I think up to draw come from my surroundings, my style usually comes from the type of music that Im listening to at the moment which also has an affect on my mood. I might see or hear someones elses drawing or idea and add my own style to it or modify it. Just recently saved a black moore gold fish because the owner left it at its house when he moved out and the tank was filthy with algae. I cleaned up the tank and have it sitting in my kitchen and it looks really nice with its colorful rocks and plants situated. I drew out a old school diver (google it) and I think that it possibly inspired the drawing.

Congratulations! It was a delight reading your post. I'm excited for you haha. I can't quit my job because I am in the United States Army lol. It's against the law to quit so I might have to hold out on that one. I'm glad you had the freedom to do so, though!!!

Another note on what inspires me is interesting books I run into at the library. Books really get your creativity running. I noticed if you are just skimming books in the different isles at the library you pick up something that catches your interest no matter the topic, just be open minded to seeking answers in every possible element.
