Question Cold Hard Business Plan FACTS

I am writing my business plan to read and possibly present it using power point. I want to be able to show graphs and charts showing revenues and buying trends in my field. Any suggestions on where I can find statistics in the sports field? NBA to be exact.

I found some info on a sample business plan search on google. They didn't have my business exactly but a lot of good information to start with.

You might try working with your local librarian to do some research, they love doing research. Good luck

You know, you might just try cold calling some sports agents and seeing if you can get some info out of them under the old 'research project' guise. They might at least point you in the right direction and help short circuit the research phase.

I would probably go with mcstartup's idea. There is no better place to get something than from the source. Agents usually keep very good records on their clients, as that is where they get their money. They probably wouldn't just hand them over plain as day, but you could just say your a college student doing a research project. If you need broader statistics like on an entire teams play history, you can usually find stuff like that online. You may check the teams official website to see if they have a team history section. If it has to do with selling products related to the team, I would check with someone in the stadium about their on-site sales. You could always try to contact the team owners for other statistics, but they probably wouldn't even give you the time of day. Good luck!
