I'm sure there are previous threads on this, but does anyone have any recommendations about entrepreneurship courses you can take that will teach you to create a solid business plan? I'm interested in anything either in the Chicago area or an online course. I could probably go to Depaul or UIC or something and pay $1400 for an MBA course or something, but I'm wondering if there is something a little more practical that focuses only on business plans, which I can more easily afford out of the pocket. I know I could just try writing something on my own, but I would love to be mentored by an expert and be able to receive feedback and whatnot. Hopefully in a year or two though I'll have the time and money to start an MBA program

Well, if you need help writing a B-plan, I'd be glad to help you out. We do alot of consulting along those lines, and have a few resources and guides available. PM me if you're interested... and $1400 sounds a bit steep, when you can have one researched and written for half of that, lol.

Ha, the $1400 would be if I were to take a full MBA course. Those classes are expensive, but that would include a lot more than just how to write a business plan.
