Why are you making a business plan?

And I'm not being facetious. It's important to understand what you're trying to convey - BEFORE you make the business plan. Are you trying to provide structure and further define your business FOR YOU? Are you trying to attract investors? Are you trying to attract partners (i.e. partnering with other internet business through shared services, increased traffic, revenues etc)?

...and I'm speaking from the "wrong side" of things - my partner wasted a lot of time creating a business plan, realizing the type of business plan we drafted was not the best for what we were trying to do (garner a parternship).

Check it out. http://www.pitt.edu/~galletta/iplan.html

it's difficult to help people who don't ask for help

your advice is very good

bplans need a defined purpose, or they are useless
