But, keep in mind that, efficient use of article marketing as a form of promotion requires invested effort in writing high-quality, relevant articles in order to attract clients.

Exactly- Original , informative and authentic content rules in the Web2.0 marketing world. I read some tips before, to give your conten a twist and personality, add some humor & real-life scenarios to your articles.

Simple friend! Start off with really good Keyword research. You can use Google's Free tools, but if you really want to style it, use something like Market Samurai (does ALL the heavy lifting for you!)

Then, with KW's in hand, hunt down a good domain name, register it here (they do bulk seaching as well...)
Get a hosting account for it (click here for that...best hosting)

Get CONTENT. Google LOVES content, so get relevant articles (as in relevant to your KW's you are trying to rank for) and make sure it's unique stuff.

And lastly, like most said already, link the crap out of your site! (but not too much! Google doesn't like to be gamed...)
