    Hey man,

I've thought about it to some degree but haven't done the necessary research to really weigh the pros/cons. The problem is I'm not as much of an extrovert/salesperson so I imagine it'd be a hard business for me to break into since it's all about relationships. I DO live in Atlanta right now and it's definitely a breeding ground for Hip Hop/RnB talent and I'm sure potential models/actors are in abundance here as well.

I currently do management consulting and my current project is in Toronto....I'm here Monday-Thursday every week. Let me know if you would like to discuss further.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

I know in NY and NJ a talent agency is considered an employment agency. Therefore, you must obtain a special license through the state and there is an application process. From experience of doing so for clients, this may take 2-3 weeks plus, less if you are lucky!
Again, I am giving information for NY and NJ. This may not apply to where any of you are.

Check within your state if this license is needed .

Should you need any assistance for this, our office is equipped to help you.

    Good luck.
