    Non-profit vs Charity vs Philanthropy

Could anybody please tell me the differences between, a non-profit foundation, a charity and Philanthropy?

    All the best,

"a Nonprofit "corporation is an organization formed for the purpose of serving a cause of public or mutual benefit rather than the pursuit of monetary gain.

"a charity" is a voluntary organization created to promote the public good, or an institution set up to provide help to the needy(a charity is a non profit)

"philanthropy" is the granting of money to nonprofit organizations by foundations and corporations that is the most common definition but anyone who gives of their time and/or their resources is a philanthropist.

I hope this answers your question
    it aint charity dotcom
