New Business Proposal

My Name is Grant Robertson,

I am currently on a gap year before studying Business with Marketing at Kingston University. I have had this idea for a while now and have done a lot of research on the feasibility and I believe this service will be very well received online. It basically provides its users with 4 interfaces each providing a specific use. This seems simple but I do not believe this has ever been done before in this manner.

I have experience with Flash and can build websites with this but I am a little out of my league with this design as it is more than I can build.

I have designed the site to a very high standard so should not be a problem to build, it is just the development of the website that needs doing not the actual design.

I am looking for an initial investment to create the website to get it to a standard where I am happy with the design and functionality of the site so that it can be launched, initially in the UK and then abroad.

Please comment here if interested and we can sort out sending across the Business Plan and Initial Designs.

Regards,
Grant

I am looking for a business partner to help me take this further or simply an investment to allow me to create the website.

In an article on TechCrunch there was a guest speaker. I can not remember who it was but he had much experience in starts up. The best advice he gave his reader was "If you an idea, start immediately because at the sametime there are 10-20 other people thinking of the same idea. It just matters on who gets there first." My advice to you is start your idea right now and look for a partner while you doing this. If you really want a good partner do not come go to forums. You have no clue how easy it is to take your idea away even with an NDA. It is rookie mistake to be to nice. Honestly, some of because partners are around you (at school, work, home (maybe), or walked right past you. Go to local entrepreneur clubs, parties, or shows.

Also, don't use your real name. In the future when someone researches your company and this post comes up, you may have just lost a customer.
