I hate to bring politics to the forum, but I was curious as to what everyone thinks about this idea. Mony isn't really the concern but the success of the solution is. Any engineers out there with an opinion?

$300 million does not compare to fuel costs today. Doing this will open engineers eyes and give them more of a drive towards inventing a more productive battery! It's a great idea! Costs for us would become larger at first only because of the initial purchase of the battery.
Another thing that would need some help to be promoted would be the use of Algae for its hydrogen!
Go Algae!
