Well this is an idea that I've been entertaining for a while, and I'm sharing it because I'll probably wont be able to do it soon. I'm not the first to propose this either (believe Maria Montesori thought of it first)

premises:
- working mothers - and fathers - desperately need childcare
- older people need company, and tenderness
- breeding dog puppies can be profitable, and they are cute and tender

In one word: synergy:

I'm thinking of a FOR PROFIT franchise corporation that would engage in breeding puppies and provide minimal health and security supervision (not healthcare!) for old fellows and small kids.

The tots and the geezers can benefit from each other, and both can benefit from the puppies.

The kids and geezers would pay an at-cost fee(security and a couple of nurses) but would be able to enjoy their mutual company and the puppies'.

The company itself would make money strictly from the dog breeding industry.
