I have a business idea that will revolutionise online selling

I started this thread in the 'Young Entrepreneur Lounge Forum'
I believe it has a lot of merit for this 'Social Entrepreneurs Forum' so I have copied it here as well

'I frequented this forum regularly about 2 years ago, I have since lost touch'

I apologise for coming back like the ‘Red Dragon in Avatar’ landing in your midst with a brash claim of global online monetary revolution.

I promise you I will be the first one to laugh at myself if this idea has no merit if nothing else I will entertain.


This idea is born out of pure frustration at the way online business is done.

It’s a simple idea It would have been good if it was developed yesterday so I can use it personally to do business.

This idea also has the potential to revolutionise and influence most business transaction worldwide, the way we communicate via email also it will affect online social networks.

What will be required is a high level of programming and the service will take care of itself.

Nuts and bolts:
All I want is a 2% royalty of profits if it succeeds.

Required:
2 trusted member of this forum. Those of whom you perceive as honest, trustworthy and visionary so I can present this idea. I know this probably sums up everyone here so please do no put your own name forward.

If the idea has merit
I foresee a small specialised team being set up to start developing this idea.

Again this idea is simple and will not take a lot to set up I have not got the time or expertise to do it. I hope this service can be developed so I can use it personally.

Due to it being unique and simple I would like to take advice from those more experienced who are honest and trustworthy.

This idea is completely unique and nobody from my research is providing a product or a service to get the same result.

I have a question for people reading this.
How would you go about this?
let’s say this idea is 'the real McCoy' possibly billions of dollars involved. How would you go about it in the early stages of protecting this idea?

It will take a lot of effort and capital to setup.

Honest truth about me to give you a bit of insight
I'm a highly creative person with a high degree of social concise I do not want to get bogged down in details it bore’s the crap out of me, some people love that sort of stuff. I want to secure this idea, so that everyone who works on it can receive the rewards, I would like to have my say on the early aspects of its potential development then hand it over with the hopes of a royalty type of reward.
I am an ideas person I can see the end result like an artist sees a painting (highly Visionary)

I have add on ideas for the above idea that could revolutionise the music and advertising industry

Time to let go of these ideas. I have neither the expertise or know how to develop them.

What I can possibly see happening here I am hoping to generate enough interest so I can pass on this idea to people of merit will either see the potential or they will not. If they do then they will vouch for the potential of the idea. From this identify people in this forum or elsewhere who would have the right skill sets to further develop or know someone who could help further develop the idea.

I do have one question for others interested. When you say you do not have the skills to get this developed. What skills are you talking about? Like coding skills, etc?

Yes? Coding skills would be one; the idea I have will require setting up new business model to my knowledge this has not been done before it’s not something that can be taken out of a box, pin a tail on it and call it a ‘twitterface’. (No! the idea is not Facebooked or Twitterish) Some aspects can be adapted from existing business models but they will need to be changed.

As I said before it is unique and different yet simple and I don't know why it hasn't been done before.

Other skills I would have and lack in: I'm like a 'blue arsed fly' all over the place. I'm good at getting things started but hopeless with the fine details of finishing thing, dotting I's and crossing T's.

This whole idea could just be a ‘fart in a pond’ all I know is I believe there is a genuine need for it.

If it were a ‘goer’ I would only want to hang around long enough to see that it was heading in a direction that the majority of the returns will go back to the users of the services and products.

If the idea had merit and went beyond general discussion it should be easy-ish to start but there are many aspects of the idea that would need advice from experts in their field.

Security, setting up a completely different corporate structure what can and cannot be done, Integration of banking systems, possible re-development of fiscal management funds (especially the time value of money)what can and cannot be done, legality issue that could arise from it being different. [I’m talking outside of the box stuff]
