What is your opinion about stem cell research and cloning?

Do clones have a mind, a soul or emotions? Or will they be in a vegetative sleep and is that so wrong? Is it really up to God to create life and to take it? Or is it that God wouldn't allow it to be possible if He want us evolve technologically? These are the top companies that are involved in cloning and stem cell research.

Would you clone your dog? Do you think in the future that it will be possible to clone your dog?

Do you think that cloning your pet cat is right or wrong?

Out of curiosity, do you think that cloning animals is right or wrong? If you were a breeder and you had a top of the line pure bred animal that you made a lot of money from, would you clone them to keep the bloodlines?

Most religious activists think stem cell research is bad. What are stem cells you might ask? A stem cell has the ability to form itself into any type of cell the body needs at that particular location of the body. Stem cells are found in adult humans but not in the great abundance that are found in developing human embryos. The stem cells found in adult humans are already used for treating certain cancers. Scientists are still trying to harvest embryonic stem cells to their advantage in curing diseases. Embryonic stem cell research involves growing a human embryo outside of a uterus and then harvesting it for its abundant and possibly life saving stem cells. This is why it is so controversial. Right up there with abortion.

I think that this is in no way playing god.. This could save literally millions and one day, billions of life's. Think about it, a factory full of livers and lungs, another full of hearts and kidneys. Besides the fact that stem cells might be able to do even more then we can imagine. I think that this research is 100 percent necessary and morally correct, and it is not playing god like so many say, its saving life's.
