Hi my name is Bruce, a business owner. I am new here. Nice to meet you all. I just want to say that Facebook is much more powerful than I thought to getting business.

A very cool case in point: I have connected on Facebook with 35 of my high school graduating class. Because those people knew me from high school, some long lost friends no longer long lost, they were looking for web design firms to build their web site and write their business plan, 2 of my 3 main services. They read my Facebook profile and found out that this is what my company does. I got some new clients out of old friends, two of them to be exact.

If you have not tapped into your old high school mates on Facebook, I suggest it.

I use myspace for personal reasons. Its a bit harder to get business or keep intouch with myspace. Facebook however is doing alright, i plan to upgrade and add even more this week to test it. I am getting better return however with forum posting and just generally being me, which is great.

I didnt see the article on facebook killing myspace but that sounds interesting if anyone can point me in that direction of the myspace article?
