    www.gz-host.com

I need some serious reviews of my website, I have a few ads running on google and facebook and people are coming, yet something is causing them to not be interested anymore.

Comments, suggestions, I want to know exact details please!

    Again, the website is gz-host.com

I am by no means a web analyst but from a quick glance it looks like a nice site.

The one thing that i would say is that you might want to spruce up the 'contact us' and 'support' pages in line with the rest of the sites theme to make it easier on the eye and more professional.

I do like the live questions pop-up also.

    Hope this helps!

I will do so soon, I have a marketing meeting today but I will do so afterwards, only thing about the live chat popups, I wish they followed the page when you scroll, but once I get a different live chat software they will.

I'm still working on a few of the sub-pages on the site as well, I need to post up a jobs page especially.

More reviews are welcome, I could really use the input.

I think the main reason people are being put off is the design. The design looks professional but it tries to hard to be so. It's very cluttered and the graphics are far to promotional (the picture of the server for instance). Most hosting companies (smaller ones) succeed because they are simple and friendly. This website is complex and over the top. While, I agree, many major hosting companies do this - but they can afford to as they rely on word of mouth etc. and people already know they are good. With the new Web 2.0 designs people are trying to move away from these overly complicated graphical designs towards more customer friendly ones.

Have Host is a fantastic example of a nice and simple, yet highly effective, design. Have Host / Home

Little Oak Hosting is another company with a really great website design, but one which is simple, but still appealing: Little Oak Hosting LLC

I think to be an effective hosting company today you need to fill something of a niche. Not sure what types there are but one I know of is 'Eco Friendly' hosting...something I'm sure will become more and more popular. But there are bound to be more. Some focus on providing different people hosting: web designers for example.

I could go into detail with you site of all the problems but I don't think that's necessary, just take a look at those examples and think simple...

I will take all of this into account, I'm going to redesign the layout very soon, unless someone else can do a good job and for cheap (budgets not that high yet)
