Hm so I read what everyone was saying and I guess I now lean towards' the majority's favour. That having been said, I did have a chat with Mr. Brain in IM and he said that originally the site was supposed be ONLY directed at the subject of money - being investing as well as financial planning. The catch: it had to be for students, hence the uplifting feel to it.

Although I do believe that the tone of the site is really refreshing, etc, I agree more with the fact that the site started off with a good idea but kind of lost its way, so I think we should help this poor guy out with some constructive ideas in order to add flow, and make people understand the site!

If I understood correctly, the site is meant for students and the main subject matter should be financial planning and investing, so here are my suggestions:

1. Get rid of the "Mind" and "Wealth" sections, you can the new ones that focus on the subject matters of investing and financial planning
2. Add a logo for brand recognition and streamline the subtitle (financial independence), i see that youve change it since earlier today, its better, but maybe it can be even more streamlined?
3. Sorry to say, but kill the British guy although I really liked the Moneybags articles (is it just me, or does anyone else like them?)
4. Make the colours a tad darker, the breaking news part has to be fixed, as does the presentation of the little articles on the bottom
5. Also, from what I understand, "The Gutman Fund" is suppoused to be your source of credibility (those are some pretty sweet returns btw), but the text inside of it isn't very professional, I think at least that part has to have the fully "professional" tone to it

That's all I can think of on the top of my head, I'd be interested to see what everyone else has to say!

Nice talking to you over IM. Those were some major points we came up with, so thanks a lot for that, you have been of great help! I believe we are taking all five of them into consideration and fixing everything immediately.
Also, wanted to ask everyone as a general question: Mr. Moneybags, one of our authors, (the only one we are considering keeping at the moment), how do you guys like him? As in - is everything clear and coherent? Its not too much? Needs to change his manner of presenting the material? Give any feedback on that, would be of great help.
