The general feel of the site is nice. I would recommend decreasing the size of the tabs on the navigation bar. The words are too huge. That automatically gives it a less professional feel, which is not what you would be looking for in your industry.

The template is not bad, I like the color choice, and your logo is pretty nice. I would however find a different place to position it. It doesn't seem to go very well. Upper left corner might look better.

Lastly the banner image of the skyline is nice, but it appears a bit pixelated. Maybe another image or a clearer image would give a better appearance to your site.

    Best regards.

Thanks man for your review. I just reduced the size of the Navigation Bar, and I uploaded a less pixelated version. Thanks again

Ya, that's much better. You should put the logo at the top left before the nav bar.

Content seems a bit random and unfocused. I would think about decreasing the amount of topics, and increase the coverage of the remaining. The site just comes across too shallow to make it worthwhile.

You should think about integrating Google Maps too

I agree I am deciding on how to focus my energy on certain topics.

Could you elaborate on intergrating Google Maps. I would like to I just do not know where I would do it.

I redid the colors, but can revert back to old style. I made it LSU colors since its a Baton Rouge site.

    Heres a pic

    Thanks

    Again

Maps would be great for the area guides section. Check out: Google Maps API - Google Code

You actually have some good content on there- the stuff for newcomers is great. You might want to shift your focus to that niche.
