great, i'm in sydney
i mostly use mytickets.com.au caus it lists actual events that happen in town
i'm really looking for a new place to get smashed at on regular basis and i'm not sure if the info that i'm getting from ur site allows me to do that
i'd like some event listsings, or ratings and reviews
...like...what's the hottest joint in sydney cbd at the moment? that sort of thing

Now i just wish i could get rid of the text messages on my mobile that tell me about a fun night at a Sydney nightclub and how long its open for,,, some 5000km away from Perth where i live

Good idea, I think you should have the user put in an address or zip, so it will pop-up with the closest locations, or maybe I overlooked this.

ummm, yep you basically type in location as well as search terms all in the same box.... we're testing a new algorithm and we'll be implementing over this weekend =) i'll keep u guys posted.....
