Started my Blog - Check it out

I just started it today. I just put in some information to get it started, and now I'll start learning how to make the visual better and put in advertisements to monetize it. Let me know what you think of the content and the blog in general.

Think about getting a word press theme - WordPress › WordPress Themes

Because yours is the standard one, it is going to turn a lot of people off.

    Good start though.

I still do not see adsense any where on the blog? Recent marketing studies have found that sites with a black back ground get less return visitors then those with a light colored background (I read this on the DP-Forums). I've started working on making sure that all my sites have white or light backgrounds. By the end of the year all my sites will have this done.

I like the layout... keep it going

I'm really not sure why adsense isn't showing. I got the adsense manager applet for wordpress, and I followed the instructions. Has anyone had any issues using wordpress and getting adsense to show?

Your "About" page needs updated when you get a chance.

I've tried to add things to WordPress too, but I have a feeling you can only make changes if you completely change to your own CSS. I may be wrong though.

I wouldn't even bother with a plugin for adsense, I find it is easier to just paste the code into a text widget.

Also don;t worry about adsense to start with. Unless you are getting some nice traffic, revenue will be meaningless anyway.

Bad Advice... you want adsense on your site from day one every time.. its free money... even if you only make $0.02 this month its still more then you had before.

Adsense is Google Advertising that you put on your blog... Everything you need to know about auto auctions, vehicle donations, non-profits, and the life of an entrepreneur > there is advertising in the banner as well as two boxes of it along the right hand side... you get paid when people click those ads.
