The tour is a good idea. But it still needs to be very clear what it's about. And it isn't. Nice is clean is great. There are a lot of sites with clutter. More white space can often guide the eye to your highlights. Too much can confuse a visitor. But it does depend on the market.

Hi, I just went through the link and agree that the sign-up up front is a turn-off. Didn't even notice it was asking for a name. I initially assumed it was for an email and thought of closing the window. Hope this helps.

The site looks quite nice and professional.

But I'm not really sure it's a social networking site. I didn't sign-up but took the Quick Tour so I might be wrong here.

Is the idea that people can interact with each other and encourage each other to get fit and lose weight? If so, that might be a good way of networking.

The About Us section is nice and friendly and gave me a better idea about the site. Perhaps it would be good if you let people see some of the profiles before they need to sign-up.

I think your Terms of Use could be a little friendlier though. It's pretty direct and a little off-puttting at the moment. Feels a little too clincial to me.

Overall, I think your site looks OK. But is there anyway you can make it a little bit friendlier? I think that might attract more people to use it and sign-up.

    Wink similar page

I was just looking at your website and it immediately brought to mind a website I currently use to keep track of my training: mapmyrun dot com

Altho mapmyrun is supposed to be an online community, I do not use it at all to get in touch with other people. Yours seems to be more geared towards that and perhaps you should work on making that a stronger selling point (maybe a way for people to match up with workout partners or something). Just a thought.

    Just so you know...

I tried to view the Tour in FireFox and the flash piece stayed over top of the tour graphics.

    Hope that helps.

    Good work

Good work. However you need to work hard to make website browsing pleasant.
