Site Review, Thanks!
Well, I just launched my first forum. I developed the idea from my own personal struggle to find a forum that focused solely on my market. Most business forums seems to have a lot of general market topics so i created numerous sub categories for each specific market product and marketing style.
The URL is: I Love My Niche! - Powered by vBulletin
I was also wondering how I should go about "recruiting" new members, personally I would not join a forum with zero users. So I feel getting started may be a struggle, I am not trying to become a super forum or anything I just want a solid member base with regular active users. So, i was considering vBSEO I have read about this and it seems to be fairly effective however I would like to atleast get somewhat started before I invest in any promotion products.
Anyways,
Any Comments will be read and appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

Hi there Peter.
I think the topic may be too generic. People love to go to places that match their passion. There are exception to this rule, but for the most part, if you look at successful sites, such as this one, there is a definite focus.
Hope this helps.
Rich

I like the idea but I agree with you about not wanting to go to a forum with no post I would suggest that you get some friends to start if off and possibly some people on here and digital point forums. Or you could always do the fake way and put fake posts/responses until others come in but I wouldnt suggest it

also just a thought, most people I have talked to build a site get a good clientele and then build a forum for people to engage not the other way around so you might keep that in mind

well the design is great, nice use of electric colors. Just find people who would love to participate on your forums. Why not try social networks with the same interest as yours.

Yes, I guess that makes a lot more sense, for me this was kinda just a side project so hopefully without the initial aid the site will make its way off the ground
Thanks!

Hey, just checked out your site its looking good and well organized...
I guess you'll need to gather people who has a common interest with you and invite them to your site...

You could pay people for posting, there a lot of outsourcing sites that offer their posting services.
Otherwise, your site looks good and try the fake posting.

Great Idea, I am going to try to knock some life into the Auto Parts and Accessories forum, and hopefully build from there

Although I would rather not, this seems to be the best option at this point
