Review my Web design site

Looking for reviews for my site, www.studio29design.com.

Just click around a little bit and tell me what you think. Right now the pages is in html, I will be switching them to php in a couple of days (less work to change pages) so tell me what you think.

Thanks for the critique, I am changing that photo once the site is in php, right now it does the job. Snowflakes/sparkle is just something i added for effect, didn't know what else to put there behind the nav bar, maybe ill experiment with it.

The design looks just to busy and very childish in some way. I can't give you any good points for this one, sorry. It's very important to design your portfolio/company service site to look good and proffessional. And I can tell you, it doesnt look proffessional or good at all.
If you wouldn't consider redesigning the whole site I could give you some tips:
1. The snowflakes, hmm? Is that what I want to see on a webdesigning company in the spring, almost summer? No, probably not. So if you really want something behind there but can't figure out. Create some own vector designs and put behind there. I don't suggest you head of to DA and steal some free brushes. Do your own.
2. The buttons.. The font on them just looks horrible, consider a sans serif or serif font. Easier to read and it's comfortable. The buttons could be a bit smaller don't you think? And the frame around them just doesn't look too good.
3. The background.. The background in my opinion would look better in solid white or in a solid blue.

Well those was the worst things imo. I don't really want to be rude but it's true.
Just some tips.
Buy a book, or two. SitePoint have some nice books.

Oh btw, the spaces between the text is too big. Try reducing it, will look better. Don't just try to fill it out with big spaces between the line. Be creative

Thanks Vargo, i needed that critique, the only critics I have is my family and friends, how don't know much about good design. I will try to come up with something different in the future that is more appealing. It seems like I can come up with better designs for my clients, but when it comes to mine, i draw a blank

Thanks

Alright that's a little harsh. Don't try to put down somebody's work just to try and make a sale on your affiliate site, that's low.

Anyways, the most important thing I look at when I see a site designer is their own site. I mean that's the best thing to go off. If they can't build themselves a good looking site, are they really going to be able to do it for me?

I'm no site designer so I can't really pinpoint what's wrong but I'm really not feeling your whole page. You really need to spend some time making improvements and making it perfect. With the business you are in, you have to have a perfect site.

Just my take on it.
