Yes it is just the default, with a wrapper and module adjustments, it only took a day or two to get everything worked out. I'm not a pro at web design, thats why I like joomla, it made for slackers like me! : )

Let me get this straight...I pay $25 a month and it just goes and sits in an account. I'm limited to getting it back to when I am actually involved in a collision? Why don't I just put it in my own savings account?

    Lame.

Not quite, you can save on your auto insurance first of all by raising your deductible to $1000,this in and of its self will lower your premiums by 20-40% +. The problem that most people have is they do not want to have to come up with $1000 out of pocket if they have an accident, and most people do not have the discipline to not spend the money, or they use credit cards or other high interest loans to come up with the difference. The CDRP you never have to pay interest and with 2 options you get a positive return on your money. The CDRP (Collision Deductible Reserve Plan) is what you pay into, and from day 1 you are covered to the 1000 dollars. You have 3 plan options: 25 dollars a month until your account is full; 50 dollars a month until you hit $750 and we make up $250 the difference a 33% return; OR a one time payment of $650 and we fund the $350 difference, that is an instant 53% return on your money. Most people keep their deductibles at $250-$500 and never use their collision insurance and pay higher premiums their whole life. I have not had an accident in 15 years and yet I have been paying a premium on a 250-500 deductible, the great thing about this plan is once the account is paid up you never have to pay into again, it just stays there helping you save money on your insurance for the rest of your driving career.
Now from the business end the company pays 80% of the proceeds back to the field in commissions, I'd like to see another company that does that. And once you build your business to a certain size they give you an annuity that pays around $200,000 a year for the rest of your life and you do not have to do any more sales or promoting, it is a true walk away policy, their philosophy is you helped build their business and they will continue to profit from your work and so should you!

The company has been 9 years in the making and the industry leaders are all on board with this and it goes live in about 8 weeks.

If you have any questions or comments let me know

    thanks,

    Ryan

    looks good.

One comment. Most users hate when video or audio is played without their asking. I'd suggest making it paused on launch, then letting the user hit play.

I agree with mattadams on the video. Also, I'm not sure who the target is for this website when I watch this video. Are you looking for people to take adantage of the CDRP or do you want to sign people up into some entrepreneur program.

I think the video quality is nice, but it might be a little bit overdone for the homepage experience.

You need to be upfront and transparent (via text) about what your product is...most users will bounce if they have to watch a long video.

It is both. RIght now the company is in pre-launch and goes live in 2 months, we are trying to build an active team that is passionate about helping others save money, and make money themselves. An individual can be just a consumer and save money on their insurance and enjoy a life time of savings with the CDRP (Collision Deductible Reserve Plan) and/or promote the program to others and share in the 80% payback to the field, and if they work hard they can enjoy the $200,000 annuity for the rest of their life.

    Thanks Ryan

I was sitting on the couch and I visited your site. My wife said, "What the hell is that?!" it played loud and I immediately stopped the video... I navigated around a bit, and thought to myself 'what is the IDA anyway?' only by coming back here to this post did I find out what it is...

This should be one of the first things a visitor understand when visiting... Your purpose, pitch, and qualification of the lead... It's the MTV generation - and people need to know it NOW or they'll click away.

Overall, site looks great - and as always, I love Joomla It becomes easier, the more you use it.
