Hey everyone,

I have been working on a website for about a year and a half now, mainly looking into functionality aspects of the site and creating the code needed to make it work. But now I am up for the task of creating the design aspects of the site.

First I will let you know a little about the site. The name of the site is logopallet. Logopallet will be a social network for brand marketers, designers, and businesses. Logopallet is going to allow you to create a public profile for yourself and others to view, display a portfolio of your work, allow you to communicate with other designers and brand marketers, create classified ads for you and your company, and allow businesses to host logo design competitions.

Now that you know a little about the company idea here is the logo idea.



The concept behind the logo is that of he color pallet from which the name is derived. I wanted to use many colors for the obvious association to the color pallete while creating a strong bold text that would help the logo stand out, while looking modern to fit the genre of social networking.

Please let me know what you think of the logo, all comments, concerns, and criticisms are accepted.

I really like it. I was thinking of thin black edges around the circles... it would help define the actual shapes as well as breaking up the transition to the pure white. It already looks good... don't get me wrong. I think this may just give it a little extra.

i don't know but there is something about the swirly thing that bothers me... it just doesn't look right and for me doesn't really gel with the text if you know what i mean... it feels a little cramped (lack of better words)
