I wish someone could compete with ebay, too - their fees and policies make it hard to earn. I have tried other places, and finding the sellers isnt the problem, its finding the buyers. They all go to ebay, and the problem is, ebay knows it and continually is scr#!ing the little guy. Bring in the buyers, and the sellers will flock in. Between ebay and Paypal, I pay so much, I am considering just having my own site. At least then I can control how I handle customer complaints.

I think to compete with ebay you would really have to intermediate the market and create a completely new buying experience, I also think trying to do this would be high risk as it would require a large investment and there is a very small window of success. Basically the barrier of entry to create anything similar to ebay is too large..

I got this already planned out I just need 3-5 months locked in a room to code it. I've already started the prototype. It's completely different than ebay, not a direct competitor, but I bet a lot of their buyers/sellers will want to work with my site too.

Anybody want to fund my 3-5 month coding binge you can get a piece of the action. I'll need lots of cigarettes and coffee.

Ya, I agree with the others. Its very cluttered and the design is quite headache provoking. Try to put a logo instead of just the word DynaBid

Well, I am getting a virus warning right now on attempting to access your site, so I'm not so confident that your site is safe.

I am also getting a 'virus warning' with AVG anti-Virus this is not good news for your site and your visitors and i would suggest to people to be aware of this fact if you 'do' visit this site.
