please review www.counter43.com

Hi all!
Please visit my site and tell me your ideas.

I am an asp.net programmer and I created my website to track my web projects. I am not a web designer and never will be Any advice on web design will be greatly appreciated and any advice on tracking statistics will be helpful too. Site has been online for more than 1 year but I do not see any traffic on it or new registrations. It seems that something is wrong and friendly comments will help me a lot.

Thank you!

Hi,

Just been at your site. My advise is to do something about the design. It should be more representing. There are some great designers on this forum, so maybe someone could help you.

I think the problem is that if its about counters en statistics applications, there is a lot of competition. And most of them also free, like Google's anaytics.
It will be difficult to go up against them.
If your applications does more then others, a nice comparisontable would be great.

If your backend is perfect then its time for you to work out your design! The site looks very dull! Use attractive colors and avoid the blue that you used!! Its ugly! Where is the Top level navigation!!! Its an important aspect in every project!! A must have!! Good luck

I don't feel the design works. I think t is essential to put a "pretty face" to a website in order engage the end-user.

I find it difficult to justify(based on the initial look and feel of the site) exploring this "ugly duckling" for the "swan" it may be.

If you don't captivate the user in the first 5 seconds. Most likely you lose them.
