There's nothing about the layout/colorscheme that suggests sports. IMHO that's the first thing you ought to focus on.

Hi,

This is what I would do:

I would choose to specialise in specific items of sporting goods. This is because you can become an expert in that chosen field, plus it will be easier to rank for and drive traffic to as you wiull not be competing with huge companies. I would also change the design of the website. Look at the top online sports retailers and replicate what their doing because it obviously works. Go as niche as you can.

Theres my opinion hope it gives you some ideas. Of course your free to ignore it - its just my opinion!

Its hard to criticise because it obviously so early in development. Obviously more sports related images and perhaps a brighter colour scheme to make it more lively.
