Hey Gang,

I have had my site up for about 2 years now and since then this is the second version of my site that I have had up and running. It will soon again be time to do some tweaking and changing of things. I am planning on adding some extra content, new logo designs, and maybe some more text trying to advertise my work a little more. But in the meantime I don't think I have ever really gathered people's opinions on the site. I would appreciate if you would take some time to let me know what you think. Good, Bad, or Anything in between. All comments will be appreciated and taken into cosideration during my next revision of the site.

First off, let me preface this post by saying I'm a mechanical engineer. This can explain my point of view. Mostly Left Brain.

When I look at the page, it probably says everything you want it to say, but nothing jumps out at me and grabs my attention as to its purpose.

I have read that you have about 3 seconds to catch someones eye before they move on. If I had not been trying to review your site, you would have lost me.

Examples...
Your ad at the top that starts off with "designing creative..." forces me to exert effort in reading the entire ad. The words are offset and different font sizes. I am lazy, I don't want to "try" when browsing.
Also...
Your 2 services "Logo Design" and "Web Design" are not immediately apparent. Changing those headers may help. And again, I am lazy. When I see sentences that stretch across the whole page, I don't want to read them. Maybe shorten the width up to at least half way. I feel it is better to have 2 lines half way across than 1 line all the way.

It looks good but the Designing Creative...is the one I first saw and I have to get to the top for your menus. In my part, don't have problem with it. But I don't know with others. For the overall design, good.

Ok, thanks, I will be working on an upgrade to the site soon so we will see where it takes me.

Still lots of white spaces in the home page. but generally I really liked the look, choice of colors and its pretty easy to navigate. The first lines are straight to the point. Your logo design is neat and impressive. Nice start, good job!

A larger logo would really help you. You are inthe business of logo design, so flaunt your own! Make it clickable, leading to your homepage.

My first impression was... very sharp and professional.
But I'll stick with pointing out negatives, since that is more helpful.

1) All that white space at the bottom. I don't care for that.
2) The "define creadiv" looks nice but leaves a phony aftertaste. There is probably a better way to bring that word up in a prominent way.
3) You might list, very specifically, your services. The business has the air of a startup that is looking for a niche, but hasn't found it.
4) The phrase "From the development of an idea to the design of your project" is another airy phrase that lacks substance. It is a well written phrase, but you should start with substance, then take care of style. Define your business exactly in words. Then make those words pretty. Don't just puke up pretty words.

I started to do some redesigning of the site yesterday and have some of it online. I have not worked out my index page yet, but you can view what I have here.

Some of the things I did.

Made the site a little less wide.
Got rid of the sales pitches.
Made the site more of a portfolio than a business.
Added a nice nav bar.
Got rid of the overused javascript lightbox.
cleaned up some images and made the dropshadow background a little more sharp.

Let me know what you think.

Oh and please ignore the grammar and spelling of the site. It will be checked and fixed before launch.
