    Hi,

I think getting your own domain name would be good for starters. Also I think paying a professional to make your website look good is a good investment. Ask yourself how much detail, and how much attention you would give if your store was brick and mortar, and how you would design it. Because your website is the only thing your customers see, you want it to look the best. Maybe find a friend, or someone to model some shirts and mold it into the site.

Good job so far. Good luck on the venture!

She states she has a store... and customers ask about a website since they are usually there on vacation. For this reasoning, I think she's designing the site herself. I may be way off-base here... but from reading the context of her original posts, that's what I gathered. Wed Developers can get to be expensive as well - and a site like this doesnt need to be overly complicated. I know, because I've paid well over $1200 for multiple sites. Can get pricey quickly.

Hey..Thanks again for all the info. Yes, I do already own a brick and mortar store, and the main reason for starting the site is because we get alot of people here on vacation asking if we have a store near them. Since we don't (as this is our only store) we thought a website would be the next best thing. We don't have tons of funds to spend on this site, so I am doing it myself. Time is another huge thing...I work about 60 hrs a week already, and I have a family (husband and 4 yr. old), so basically this website is getting whatever energy I have left over, which isn't much. I guess what I'm looking for is something that probably doesn't exist...a quick fix...with not alotta money or time. Thanks again for all the help. I will deffinetly try out some of the ideas you all have offered to improve the site (when I find the time...jk)

I would still recommend something easy like Joomla... it's free, easy to use, and very managable. Google it and check it out I hope it helps a bit! -J
