Hi everyone, I happened to find a great logo maker the other day for a good price. I can now make some really good logos.

Anyway, I added a new logo to my blog.

I don't want to center the logo or make it bigger, I want to keep it off to the left.

Here is my dilemma:

The right side looks blank. I was thinking if putting a "slogan logo" there or something....But I was wondering if any of you YE genius' out there had a better idea for me.

This is my first draft logo with this program, so it doesn't have to be permanent.

Lisa i reckon you could put a adsense advert in that space if you use the right colours i think that could work well and bring in extra revenue,only a thought.

Lisa, your logo is far too prominent. It's too big. Also your header is much too big. If you reduce the size of your logo, this should reduce the size of your header. Also, white space is a good thing. Never be afraid of white space.

I have to go out for a bit, so it will give me time to think of some more ideas and any that you all come up with.

Remove the stripes from the top! Let the page flow with the white! Make the logo smaller! Reduced to 60% will be ok i guess!!

No. I actually like the blue band at the top of your header. It fits the overall color theme of both your site and your logo. Keep the blue band. You'll still have plenty of white space.

ACKK! the logo needs some serious work. You ripped the Disney font, the quality of the jpeg or gif is not good enough (white areas and pixilation) . Like the comment above , too big and overpowering. Where did you get the picture of the girl? Did someone draw that for you?

THe drop shadow has to go (the blue outline part around the letters) and does the word home add any value to the logo? Whats the purposes of it being there?

Its a start though, most people dont even have a logo but just plain text for a logo.

Yuck, its fairly crap.

The logo is terrible. The header sucks too.

Also dont but adsense into it, thats not a good move imo.

The menu/stripy area doesnt work in firefox.

Also the voice which starts up is hard to hear and understand. It brings the website down imo.

Crackah, I think your criticism was unnecessarily harsh. It's one thing to offer criticism, it's another thing to brutalize a fellow member who is simply asking for help to make her site better. She's trying hard to improve her site. Yes, lamarsh was also harsh in her criticism, but she tempered her criticism with "Sorry."

Perhaps you didn't mean to come across as harshly as you did. But words still hurt.

That's okay Dale. I don't mind harsh criticism. I am still in a testing phase with the new changes I made. I made the logo smaller and will work on the contrast of it to make it look sharper. I will also get rid of that bule outline. The letters need some work also and I will probably change the disney font.

Like I said this was the first draft of the logo and I want to put something on the right. I also opened up the template more than I should have.

Does anyone have any ideas besides adsense to put on the right? I looks empty. I was thinking of a slogan or something. Maybe I could rent out adspace, not sure...

Any more ideas or criticism is welcomed.

starting to look better lisa. I would make it smaller again because your header blue colour stops a
