I sat there waiting...and waiting...and waiting for something to pop up. Pictures. Text. Anything. But I soon realized that there was nothing to the site. I see why you're having problems, and there's nothing you can do to succeed until you improve your webpage.

I agree with jmeng2, when I first went to your page I had no idea what products you even sold. After finally looking around I found one Products Catalog link. Once I clicked on the link it took me to an area where all the products are just kind of lumped together with no organization. Also there was no way to quickly search for a product I would be interested in.
Not that I'm an expert at websites by any means some tips I would give you is that you should at least have a featured product section on your home page. This is so that people know right off the bat the types of products you're offering. Another tip would be is to take off that website counter admittedly!
The wonderful thing about E-Commerce is that you can look like a multi-million dollar company that's been in business for years by having an aesthetically appealing website. Even though in reality you could be running the business out of your house on a $100 budget but don't let your website give that away. Just by looking at your website counter I know right away you're a brand new company who probably has a lot of kinks to work out still.
One thing I do like about your site is the background images with the picture of electronics. Even though when first clicking on your product catalog it doesn't even seem like you sell electronics until you go through a few pages. Best of luck to you, I'm sure you two will figure out what works best after time. To be fair you can review my website infinitecomputerdesigns.com even though it's no where near done being setup. I also plan on having a professional create our site once we have the funds. I suggest you do the same too if possible.

It's definitely lacking in both visual and target market appeal.
(hope that wasn't too harsh)

Yeah, Invest in a new layout, that is whats going to be the big thing you need to change, and yeah like stlsmoore said take the counter off, it doesn't look professional. Also get some organization with the products don't have jewelry mixed in with electronics and also I was looking on your shipping information page, and even though it might not be a problem for some whenever I see a company selling stuff and they have an email address that is free (gmail, yahoo, etc.) that, to me, puts a red flag up and I immediately leave the site.
and try to get a new shopping cart, Ive seen ones that are a lot better that are included with some web hosting via fantastico, if you have that utilize it and change shopping carts. If you have the funds, have one fitted to match your layout if you get one designed it.
Make sure when you revamp, to add products to the first page visitors see, go to amazon.com what is the first thing you see? their merchandise, go to every successful estore and you will see that products are the first thing customers see. Also try to include up-selling, cross-selling or accessory selling in necessary items.
Up-selling is If you have one camera that is 6 megapixels and another that is the same company and has pretty much the same features but is 7 megapixels have a something saying, want better image quality? Consider the 7 megapixel model.
Accessory-selling is for example someone is on the same page as the camera above, have a space for additional items that links directly to them, upgraded battery, camera cases, lenses, etc.
cross-selling is pretty much combining the both other methods together for example a waiter asks if you would like a salad with your meal, its not the same thing but it adds more revenue to your business.
Its all about making things convenient for the customer. If the customer can go to your site and find what their looking for plus some in a timely manner you will have that customer come back for future purchases.
