    New Website: Review It!!!

When you get a second please take a look at my new consumer review website.

I would like to make it more interactive and user-friendly. I just created a custom logo which will be up on the site in the next couple of days.

    A little background:

My website provides the public with 100% unbiased and unsolicited product reviews that are all user-created and published, along the same lines as Wikipedia.

I want to hear it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Let me know how I can improve my colors, look, access, etc....

Follow the link in the signature.

    Thanks to everyone in advance

Not bad overall, might want to go a little easier with the ads. They could detract from the site.

Are you going to be writing all the reviews? How will you advertise the site?

I am working with my web designer on making the site more user-friendly and interactive, I have a custom logo which will be added soon and have joined several other affiliate programs, they will be added to the site as well.

All the reviews are user-created and published, along the same lines as Wikipedia. I created the site out of frustration at not being able to find a site dedicated to the providing reviews from my peers, I want to hear what the public has to say about products that interest me, not big companies who are either paid or sponsored to write the reviews.

As far as advertising, that is always a work in progress, as is the site. I have made several great contacts here in Los Angeles who I am working with, as well as joined several large forums. I had business cards printed up and have blanketed the L.A., NY, and SF. What I am doing now seems to be working, hits are growing by the day and new members are signing up in a regular basis. I am looking for investors to help with advertising and taking the site to the next level.

Right now, the ads is where I am making money, as well as the daily pageviews. I will be adding more ad space once the site is redesigned that will host text ad links for a flat daily, weekly, or monthly fee.

Thanks for taking a look at my site

Nice design but I agree with downsizing ads

Design is ok but it just seems a bit generic; nothing stands out particularly. You could do with a brandable logo and base your design on that.

    dont like it.

Not professional, doesnt really get to the point. Looks like a page which is there to land on.

The color scheme is fine but you need to redesign it. You don't use the big space at the sides. This will look crowded later. Best of luck!

Thanks for all the advice. I am in the middle of redesigning the site and have a custom logo. I have also thought about using the space on the sides as well, because I also think that the site will look crowded soon, if I don't expand.
I am reworking the ads as well and will be adding more affiliate links.

Thanks for taking a look and when the site is reworked I will ask you all again to review the new version.

Thanks again for taking a look.

My agreement that I would immediately click out of the site. I hate having to scroll through tons and tons of info. At the very least, only list the main categories and have the subcategories drop down once the main category is selected. And two columns would be a more efficient use of space. Good luck.
