I stand by the arguement that a logo should represent the company, You should be able to know what a company does by looking at their logo, or their name.

My logo isn't the best at doing this, I will admit it. It is an abstract C & D which would stand for Creadiv Design. Creadiv obviously being a play on the word creative and the word div from css. I do web design, development and logo design.

It is a bit of a stretch but something I think a user could infer from the logo, if they thought about it for minute.

I think your logo is nice and looks professional, but looking at the logo and reading the name of the company, I still have no idea what you do.

That's exactly how we want it to be; not knowing what we do. You sound like you may not know exactly what branding is;

for example;

Amazon.com, or eBay, or Yahoo, or Google, etc., etc., etc., if you would have seen these names or logos when these companies were starting out, what would you be saying about them?

No, it's not the river, Amazon, and it's not some kind of a Bay on coastal town somewhere, etc., etc..

Make me believe in what you say by fixing your logo first. If I wanted you to design any art work for us, the first thing I'd look at is your own design, and then if I like your own design, then that will show and prove to me that you're worth working on my art design.

I still don't like the Google logo's color coordination, but they have a memorable catch, and that's all part of brandiiiiiiing..., you see it one time, and will never forget it again...

I am not insulting you nor do I have any intention of insulting you, I am simply responding to your specific comment about our logo and not knowing what our company does by simply looking at the logo. This is also based on your previous similar comment on the thread I started yesterday about the same logo and that's why you are saying you stand by...
