    Hello All, As I am new here, I would like to get some feedback on my new site with plenty of financial content. The site is fiscalfrenzy.com. Thank you all and I'd appreciate any honest feedback.

    )) nice
    no problem with layout. love the domain.
    the content is shit shit shit
    financial info is best communicated in graphs, charts and tables
    pick either technical, fundamental or MPF analysis and publish info relevant to that one type of analysis, in a format other than 160 word long slabs of text

    you need a competitive advantage that's gonna keep people coming to the site. with fin sites, it can be either one of two things - qualitative infor (i.e. great reserach reports, reccomentations, analysis) or it can be quantative (i.e. you display data that's not available in other places)..i don't imagine that you can achieve the qualitative advantage (as that would mean that you can publish better stuff than paid analysts), but, what you can do is shoot for some sort of a quantitative advantage

    what you should do is build a stocks recommendation engine. you'll make millions. do this;

    the problem: traders find it hard to find new trading ideas.

    the solution: pick a heavily traded market like nasdaq 100, and calculate running series of covariance coefficients for these 100 securities. the result is that I can come to your site, see a listing of stocks that are either moving up or down, and then see a list of other stocks that are likely to move or down based on the movement of the 1st stock.

    you won't be breaking any securities laws, because you're not publishing any kinds of forecasts, but merely presenting mathematical calculations. you can monetize the site by subscriptions and ads. you'll make millions.

    Your website must capture visitors' attention immediately!

    I agree with Akula's view that the site does not yet provide enough serious analytical data, which is what a financial visitor is going to be looking for.

    Think of it this way:

    You really do only have 10 seconds to capture the interest of the reader before your visitor becomes bored and clicks away to one of the other 729,456 choices that Google gave her...

    So then, what do you have on your home page that will capture - and keep! - a web surfer's interest in 10 seconds?

    The up-side is that the website design is absolutely great.

    Good luck!
    Wishing you great success in your business,

    Andrea
