We relaunched Masqot.com today! We actually launched 4 weeks ago, but we came up with the idea to share 70% of our ad revenues with our members. So it took us another 3 weeks to implement this idea and improve some functions.. We are still improving some functions and more changes are to come!
What do you think about the site?

Masqot.com is a social networking site for all you international students out there! For those you want are studying, want to studied and even have studied abroad. The ambition is to be the most useful website for students who seek to get information regarding exchange studies and at the same time network with other students.

There are a handful of problems that may hurt your business.

As soon as someone goes around your site a bit, they will realize that it is a phony front being used to sell cheap products. That is not a good formula for success.

The slut on the video does seem to have perky nipples, (that is good I guess).
But she is not a credible spokes-model.

Your "learn more" link is broken.
English syntax is spotty in places.

thanks, I tried to fix the front page with less annoying ads. The thing is, as how we are now sharing our revenues we need the ads. People are exposed to ads anyways, but in Masqot they get paid to do that along with an useful site.

We are working on the site and try to improve the site all the time. If you got any ideas on what else to add then please share it

I'll point out a few more things.

Your website right now is a mixture of two things. It is part internet marketing experiment and part cheap brothel. Neither of those two is impressive, as your website is now. It looks like your only motive is to make money. You can offer cheap excuses

but there's tasteful sleaze, and there's untasteful sleaze.

1) That sleazy slut is going to cost you most of your traffic. Either get her completely naked and give her a toy, or take her off your front page.

2) The commercialism of your site will cause almost 100% of people to leave immediately. It is just so evident that your primary motive is making money. There are a lot of sites created by sincere people. Also many sites created by clever people. You are competing with those sites. Not wise.

3) The english is good enough for a lot of things, it needs to be cleaned up though if your audience is college people.

4) If your credibility weren't already shot, it would be affected by promises made on your index page that are silly e.g.
Make money!
You make money each time your profile gets viewed and for every page you view.
Well isn't that nice. You are asking people to come to a meeting site, so they can make money when their profile is viewed. You will catch some very simple-minded people maybe, in countries where primary education is not mandated by law.

5) Your "disclaimer" is cute, I guess. It does not help your credibility.

Your site, run by a person with the motives that you obviously have, will not succeed.

This is my opinion. Your only hope of turning the site into anything is to eliminate 100% of the commercial references. Stop telling the world that you are a prostitute. For a few months, let every person who goes to your website not see one single reference to money money money. Try to establish a foothold. Then, when you have a loyal following, zap them with sleazy advertising if you need to.
