Last week of January, I launched the online prescence of a new venture called Lucidry. Lucidry - Connecting The Inspired - Business, Marketing, Inspiration, Social Media

We are holding a number of networking events and business/marketing/motivational events per month - the first being in the first week of April. I was after feedback from yourselves on the website.. is it something you would use? Anything you dislike?

I understand many of you are highly accomplished, but the site is as much intended for you as it is for entrepreneurs, SMB owners, graduates and e-addicts. Would love some guest posts / the opportunity to interview some of you and the things your involved in...

Loving that logo. The sites sort of plain but it works I guess.

I dont think the color yellow and black matches with your logo colors.

I think it does. It's good to have some contrast in there.

Hi there,

The colours are a contrast colour colourway - they do not match but that is because they are not intended to. They work as a cohesive palette, which hopefully prompts people to click in certain areas. Appreciate that they may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Hi Encrypted, (your CodeEgg site is freaking gorgeous, when do you launch?)

It is a touch plain, but I am a big fan of 'minimal' and white colour based design - you can see this reflected din my own personal website and my other venture websites. Also, I have borrowed that 'plain' feeling from some of the most popular blogs online - they are all pretty much white with a few areas of colour. This is because, its a site I want people to sit on and navigate around and read... Colours everywhere is a proven way to deter the majority of people from doing that.

huh i was about to launch something like this great blog the logo is sick..i really like how the menu expands and then you have your explore option that gives you a plethora of links to click on nice site....i would probably not do the yellow and black but it is your site..
