Functionality-wise, I don't like having to scroll all the way down to get the link to one of my bookmarks (I'm better off memorizing it or saving it on the browser). So if there's a way you could really minimize the scrolling, it would be something that I could see myself using.

But if your aim is mainly for webmasters to have a backlink to their site, it could prove to be useful I guess.
