Put the word "beta" as part of your logo. It's the "cool", popular thing to do now if you're an online startup.

Heh - If that's the only flaw, I guess we're doing okay.

It's going to sound stupid when we say it, but we're going to test some viral techniques before going the pay route. We have a list of sites we are approaching to get coverage on but it really is a crapshoot how/if we will get covered. We know the topic isn't for everyone unlike other fun web 2.0 stuff.

I'm getting 404s on the "search used cars" and "car dealers" links at the top. Looks nice for what I can see, though. Definitely looks like it could compete with the big guys.

Thanks! Yeah, we're still working on the text pages and advanced search... we've been cutting features that are not "critical" to meet the launch. I guess the advanced search could be argued either way. =P

Yea definitely a very sexy website. I think you really have something here. You're bound to succeed with this and you'd be surprised how many people will want to talk about your site on the net. It could definitely spread virally if you do it right.
Do something you're passionate about. It makes a world of difference to your success.

Thanks jawzishere! Once we load some more cars, we definitely hope this will be one of the better alternatives for car selling and shopping than existing sites out there.

DJmuggs - Great catch! We actually had them in the database but apparently it was turned off as a category. I guess it's a good thing it's only a beta

It looks good, although i think the top section (above the read header) could be improved.
I got that horrible 'love button' ad when i visited. I think you should block those kind of ads.
I like the way you have organised the categories; very easy to navigate.

Since you're targeting a specific geo location; ie Atlanta; you need to incorporate this into to your SEO.

How did you get your inventory? With out telling me too much... are you pulling from another site or are your listings original to your site? I consult with an auction company that sells about 100,000 per year... they may like to upload their internet sales directly to your site... maybe even their text version to an auction section or something. PM me if you are interested in talking more... nice site by the way.

We have a separate buzz creating (for the web 2.o people) and local marketing (for our actual users) plan in place. However, until we get more cars on the site, we probably won't be in a hurry to get people to just drop by and never return.

If it ends up being successful, I will definitely write about it on my blog.
