please review my site! i am ready to take it to the next level, as right now it just sits around. . .

The site doesn't strike me as very clear. I don't understand what you do after reading the first page:

1) "I have 27 years freelance experience working on Feature Films, Commercials & Documentaries, and am currently NEW MEXICO based." - Great, I am based in the Netherlands, bye bye... Seriously, this puts people off, they'll be like 'oh he aint near me'. Or, if you only target people in New Mexico ... they'll be 'hmm, CURRENTLY based ... so he might skoot soon'.

2) "505.818-8665/iwerken@gmail.com is the contact information for me." make this into a better sentence ... please ... this is not a usual (if correct) way of formulating your contact info. Go with the 'Contact me at ... ' style.

3) "These pages have resources for Recces, Location Scouts, Lighting, Film Crews, Cinematography, and Production Services. Q-SPHERES is an HDRi Imaging Services Company." ... eh ... what? What the HELL is Q-SPHERES and what the hell is the rest for that matter? Are you trying to sell your services, or giving info on those things you list, do you sell those things you list ... what do you DO?

That Q-Speres thing totally put me off there, as it is suddenly there without ANY introduction whatsoever.

4) "iwerken: org. English, German, Dutch- verb- working, busy, doing something film related. Noun- handle, username, name, proper noun. Complete sentence- Iwerken. Or, I am Iwerken." - seriously, I am not even going to explain that I don't understand this. This is total ***** if you ask me.

5) Layout ... well, the picture... why is it there!?

6) I didn't have the patience to go to other pages on the site, I gave up. I would get someone to write the text for you because I don't get it. And my English is pretty good, especially for a non-native speaker...

Thanks for the insight jmeijers! All of those comments are things to be looked at, and I will work on making the focus more clear. Even I do not know what I might be doing tomorrow, so it is very hard to define what I do to the general web. The picture is a subliminal tribute to google wave this month, I change the picture monthly. 95% of my work is from people I already know and they know what I do, so this page is really more a way for them to keep up with me. Working in 8 or 10 different departments in film production, in many different states and countries, I probably need to build another site(s) for a non-film related web presence.

If people want to track you, just start a blog. That seems like the way to go, I mean, that is the way I let people 'track' me
